Review of Typing Stage 1: Demonstrate how to use Dance Mat Typing stage one, level one
(ASDF,JKL; and G, H). Review the home row and proper finger technique.

Assign Typing Practice Stage 1 - 3 :
Assign 25-30 minutes or until done.
Assign 3 Minutes of: Typing Rocket Jr. Type with both hands, try to get a final score of 60 points or more.
Assign: Keyboard Climber 2. Type with both hands. Finish level two.
Assign Enrichment: Students work on enrichment activities after typing.


3rd GRADE

talk about how to sit in the chairs.
Discuss keeping hands to oneself, no running in the lab, keeping fingers out of mouth and nose. Following the same rules as in the regular classroom.
Review Computer Parts Names - Briefly review the names of the main computer parts such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, CPU and others as necessary.

Students review typing skills from Kindergarten using one or more of the following: 1. Keyboard Zoo, 2. Type Rocket Jr., 3. Keyboard Climber
2. Students type about 20-25 minutes.
3) Enrichment - Work on these enrichment activities after typing.



4TH GRADE
